AF1 Develop information systems compatible with the needs of users

AF1.3 Implement improvements to information systems

Performance Required

This will involve:

  1. Consulting specialists to assist in the implementation of improvements
  2. Selecting systems and equipment to meet agreed specifications, and acquiring them in accordance with the organisation's procedures
  3. Ensuring systems and equipment are installed and commissioned according to specification and verifying that they meet all relevant regulations
  4. Ensuring systems and equipment are configured with existing systems and equipment, and that they achieve their optimum performance
  5. Ensuring relevant people are briefed in the use of the systems and equipment
  6. Ensuring data are entered or transferred into the new systems and equipment according to an agreed plan
  7. Resolving any problems with the implementation
