AJ8.1 Conduct a risk assessment

Performance Required

This will involve:

  1. Identifying potential disasters, building weaknesses or potential weaknesses
  2. Identifying the implications of any action to mitigate the disaster, including the threats posed
  3. Identifying and costing potential solutions
  4. Identifying actions that could be taken immediately to minimise the effects of potential disasters
  5. Obtaining specialist advice where necessary
  6. Analysing and recording the suggested response to potential disasters
